I love palm and banna trees, I have a windmill palm that is now about 13 feet tall I have a smaller one and a sego palm outside I stopped having them inside because they are bad for cats and my cats were attacking them, I have tried banna trees and they die on my every time, there are not many palms where I live in Concord NC

Yes, I grow them in an area of the USA where they do not normally grow, far outside their normal zones.

I like them under certain settings, but in general no ... I prefer big trees with dappled shade.
