i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend, and i'm on the pill. i've been spotting for 3 days now, what does this mean?
Update:well the spotting is just out of no where, and i've been on the pill for 37 days before that. the spotting varies, it is light, then heavy. and it comes when i least expect it. i am having slightly sharp pains (for the last 3 days, a day after it happened) and i wanted to know what pain pills i can take with it. i'm on loestrin 24 fe, it doesn't say what i can and can't take with it. we've had sex before and we were both virgins. and we've had sex multiple times since then. and for those of you who said take a test, i have to wait at least a week to take one in order for it to be fully correct (my friend who's been a nurse for 5 years). but don't i have to wait until i'm not bleeding?

Anytime you have unprotected sex (pill or no pill) you run the risk of pregnancy as well as all kinds of infections and STDs.
Spotting usually means your period, but if its unusual for you, you should see a doctor.
You should be fine, it depends on how long you have been taking your birth control and if you have been taking it everyday. Go back and read the sheets that came with your birth control, see how long it says you should wait to have unprotected sex. Most say 7 days, mine does but some say wait at least a month.
I am 17 and i have unprotected sex all the time and im fine, im on birth control too. I use to freak out all the time but i know now i dont have to worry and neither do you trust :)
If youre on the pill, its not unprotected sex.
And we kinda need more info about the spotting.
How long have you been on the pill for?
If youve been on it less than 3 months, some breakthrough spotting at random times is normal until your body regulates itself to the cycle of the pill.

Don´t panic; I think the best thing for you to do is to go see a doctor, just to be sure. It won´t hurt and even if it is something, at least you´ll know for sure and will be able to treat it sooner than later. So yeah, go find some professional help =) You´ll feel reassured.

pills dont always work tell your man condom or no sex. in the meantime make some clones. your spotting is your vagina coughing after being punched in the face

it means nothing. your period may be irregular due to taking the pill. when exactly is your cycle supposed tho start?
