approx. 4 days ago i got a vaginal infection which was treated.
the past couple of days after completing the antibiotic i'm having some issues such as thick yellow discharge, not always, but sometimes, however, there is no smell and no pain when urinating
please tell me what you think this is? do i need to go back to the doctor or should this thick yellow discharge not worry me?

Yellow discharge is usually a bacterial infection. But since you were on medication, it could be that your vagina is just cleaning itself out. Your normal white/clear discharge will turn yellow or dry yellow when exposed to air.
Different types of infections:
Signs of yeast infections:
White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and pain around the vulva
Intense itching
Signs of bacterial vaginosis:
A white, gray or yellowish vaginal discharge
A fishy odor that is strongest after sex or after washing with soap
Itching or burning
Slight redness and swelling of the vagina or vulva
Signs of trichomoniasis
A watery, yellowish or greenish bubbly discharge
An unpleasant odor
Pain and itching when urinating
Most apparent after your period
