Video card resolution problem?
Hi everyone,
I'm running windows vista with a Nvidia 9800 GT.. whenever i run high graphics games like farcry 2 I get a notice to update my graphic card drivers.. so i download the latest updates from the nvidia website. After my pc restarts and the drivers are installed by resolution is messed up.. I go to properties but i can't alter the resolution..
anyway have any ideas why this problem is occurring?

try adjusting the bit rate first. it might be set at 16 bit, and you want 32 bit.

you can also go there and select the right crap from the drop down menu, and try to reinstall the drivers, as alot of the time windows will install its own "microsoft provided" drivers and not the actual drivers from nvidia.
