Hi,
my friend and I want to video conference with each other, however we just can't seem to get it to work :( He has a mac and I have Toshiba Laptop, and we have tried using AIM, YM and iVisit an it just doesn't work! We can get the cameras working with YM but it's not very fluid and the picture isn't that good.
He manages it with some of his friends via AIM, but for some reason it just doesn't work with me - regardless of who initiates the video. Can anyone help?!?!?!? I've tried opening ports, but maybe I haven't opened the right ones?! He's called Apple, and it's definitely something on my end that's going wrong, as the lady there tested his and it worked.
I would be grateful for some help :)

Have you tried using Skype? It sounds like an Apple-to-PC problem. I use a Mac and have video conferenced with other Mac and PC users with Skype quite successfully.

Teleconferencing makes a speciality of trasmitting the voice, on a similar time as video conferencing transmits video clips besides. another conferencing solustions including Beamium basically transmit the rfile.
