Vista to Xp downgrade question???
Okay I gotta laptop with Xp pre-installed and then bought Vista Home basic via digital locker and installed it However my cp became super slow which is weird since im using a Centrino Duo processer and its only the basic wesion. So I got AVG (free edition), installed it and no viruses. So im thinking about downgrading to Xp and was confirming that using the product key that is on the reinstall disk of Xp, it will be genuine.

yeah, just use the product key that came with your cd. but you may need to reformat to completely wipe vista off. so backup your important files first.
reinstalling xp is an upgrade i hope you have at least 2 gigs of ram to run vista also your xp key should still work
big mistake and its not easy to upgrade a laptop but i think you need more ram
if your processor is like that, it should be working fast.so i guess it's your memory and harddrive.
Your memory should have at least 1gb so it would work faster.
and you should have a decent memory space on your harddrive.
