I have always been very skinny, around 130lb and almost 6ft, and now that I am pregnant I am worried about after labor, if the pounds will come off. My mother lost all her weight in the first week, and I have never had to diet to keep the weight off, in fact it always seemed like the more I ate the skinnier I became.
I have gained around 20lb already and am only 6 months along, i have asked my doctor about it and he said I am actually where I need to be for my size. But I have found out that I need to be around pre-pregnancy weight about 1 month after labor for a family function. Do you think it is possible? and if so, what would be the best way to get to that point?

My Advice Eat Healthy But don't Starve yourself Look At How Much You Need To eat A Day calorie wise for Your Normal weight and height Not Your Pregnancy Weight Then Add 300 Extra calories to it which is all the extra calories you Need well pregnancy well breastfeeding you will Need 500 Extra Also Walking Does Not Hurt And Would Be Good To Do To. If You Stick to eating healthy And not going overboard in calories then all you will essentially Gain Is Baby and the fluid etc that comes along with pregnancy and you should Be back to your pregnancy weight by or before your 6 week check up! I only Gained 12 pounds my last pregnancy My Baby Grew fine I Just ate healthy did not binge on sweets and did some walking And I went Home Actually Weighing Less then I started out my pregnancy At And By The time my baby was 3 Weeks Old I was Down 30 Pounds From Pre pregnancy weight after i lost the rest of the fluid. All I had gained was baby and fluid and lost weight from Being healthy and health conscious My doctor had no issue with this Because My Baby was growing fine and getting all the nutrient he needed just not all the junk food fat and sugar he didn't need!
Make sure to breastfeed. The weight melts right off.
As far as exercise goes, you won't be able to do much in 4 weeks postpartum if you have a C section delivery.
