»You can only delete open and un-resolved questions. Do this by going to the question you want to have deleted in your my profile under questions. Hover your mouse over the pencil icon ✎ and there is a delete button. If the question has gone into “voting mode” or has been resolved by you or the community by best answer you’re out of luck. They belong to yahoo answers and they're the only ones who can delete them.

✖ You can only delete open question or answers, if they have gone to the vote or resolved they cannot be removed.
The questions and answers stay in yahoo archive available for searching and browsing. only yahoo can delete them.
✖ If the Question/answer is still open scroll down to Pencil Icon and click -> select delete question.

You can only delete your open questions & answers.
To delete a question.
Go to the question and on the tool bar at the bottom use the pencil icon.
To delete an answer, click delete.
They will still remain on file for future reference.
If you haven't voted on it yet, vote for one and hope you break the tie, or ask a contact by email to vote.
You can't post a link to the Q in a question as it is a violation.
