when do debit cards expire?
so i just got my debit card in the mail and activated it. it is a visa from wells fargo but one problem i noticed is it doesnt have an expiration date and on amazon it ask for that. where can i find the date if it is not on my card

That's strange. There should be an expiration date on the card. It might very well be a temporary card that they sometimes issue until your real card is ready, probably within a few days. But in most cases, every card whether it be a credit card or debit card, has an expiration date on it somewhere.
i find that strange coming from wells fargo. I banked with them for a number of years myself ..mine had an expiration date.
Does it have a visa logo on it? or mastercard? if not it sounds like you got a starter card.. One that is for Debit withdraws only.. not for credit use.
Call up wells fargo and ask them why you received this card.
