When do your growth plates close?
I'm almost 17 and I'm 5'9.5" (boy). I was wondering when do your growth plates close? because I grown inch I think in spring or somewhere around there. My dad is 6'2 and mom 5'6.

The growth plates close around age 20. You might still grow as much as another 1.5" befor you're through. After 18, guys seldom grow more than a fraction of an inch according to the growth charts.
It is different for all men. No one is exactly the same.
Most males will reach their adult height by 21.
