Politicians interviewed on TV and Radio are stating the Police can not be trusted. They are fine ones to judge the police or any body else. What example are they setting with their fiddling and lying and deceit? Not forgetting the Bankers who have stolen billions yet get a pension and bonus pay !!
The example should be set from the top and Politicians are the last people to judge anybody.

Update:Edit > David PD > Mitchell admits saying >"I thought you guys were here to fuxking help us"< all because he was asked to use the pedestrian gate instead of the main gate. He said this to Armed Police Officers who are there to put their life on the line if Mitchell and his peers are threatened.
When politicians were asked >you guys should not use public money to buy a Den for your Ducks or a 50 inch TV for your second home< they became very angry and defensive.
My point is on how the moral fibre of a country is crumbling because of the DONT DO AS I DO DO AS I SAY culture, created by politicians, bankers and others in powerful positions who have one law for them and another law for us.

MYRTEL... Perhaps, Mitchell should have been arrested at the time of the incident as the power of arrest was there to do so. A lot of what has since turned out amounts to finger pointing and "who do you believe" and could possibly have been avoided.
Most of the public are no lovers of our Politicians because they have shown how untrustworthy and dishonestly they conduct their business.
From what has transpired since that incident, it has put some of the Police evidence at real doubt. It was sad and stupid for someone in the Police to make a statement that can easily be disproved, and it now looks like an attempted "set-up". Like I said this could have been avoided.
Personally, the Police have made a rod for their own back, so to speak and it has not come across as being to bright on their behalf.
A good question as always, which no doubt will produce many a different answer.

The society within which we live is corrupt. However, on a scale of 1 to 10, the politicians' expenses fiasco shouldn't have even scored 1. Did you see how the super-rich Murdoch destroyed the government with his lies? There was a reason for that: That which big business are trying to fool humanity into demanding will be much worse than that which we have now! The super-rich capitalists (like the ones that own big business, which includes the media) are using their influence to plant the seeds of distrust into the heads of the voters. They are doing this to manipulate humanity into electing Right-wing governments, because Right-wing governments foolishly accept the big business lie that they will be fair and compassionate to humanity when they take control. The Right-wing (Conservatives) will freely hand more political power and control to big business whenever they can. When big business do take control, the political system will be removed completely, worthwhile elections will end (humans will vote for the party whose MP's get to sit at the desks in the rubber-stamping office), humanity will be set at war with itself (in a war which will NEVER END) while more and more tax-payers' money is directed at the war industry. (This is already occurring in the USA).
Humanity is at a turning point: We are at the point where the capitalists are finally taking over. Right-wing (Conservative) governments freely hand power to the capitalists, so they are fully supported by the capitalists' media networks. The Left-wing (including the EU) will not bow to the demands of the capitalists, so the capitalists render the Left-wing unelectable (using wildly exaggerated reports about extremely trivial issues in their media). I suspect that you may have seen some of these.
Right-wing "Freedom" is bringing about our extinction, and the Left haven't got a hope because Murdoch fools humanity with the line that any Left-wing alternative would be much much worse than extinction. Few days pass where another politician is not found stealing our money.I would never trust an MP any MP.The UK is dying from the cancer ,greed, selfishness, corruption immigration and obscene wages. The government must legislate on tax avoidance and if a company is found using these methods the government should have the power to tax on UK turnover.These companies and their accountants must be fined. We must teach, with power comes responsibility not immorality. The people MUST fight back.Not by striking or demonstrating [this is ignored] but by exposing the corruption by politicians,banks, big business and the rich.Any one with information about tax avoidance,cheating expenses,insider dealing ,offshore accounts etc. should use the media to bring them to justice.If an MP gives grants or contracts to a friend or family tell the media . The police should prosecute where they can.A person in power should not be able to resign and get away scot free .Public figures should have exposed their salaries,bonuses and expenses published.The elite should have untaxed money in tax havens exposed and disposed. The police [plebs] owe nothing to the MP,s so should look at them through a microscope.Three large businesses have been exposed for tax avoidance and this should continue.Accountants using tax avoidance methods should be exposed .Surveys should be done by the media asking things like do you want the government to stop mass immigration like they promised or should the government legislate against tax avoidance or do you want a vote on EU membership or should foreign aid be stopped while so many of our own people live in poverty or should the tax payer continue to spend over 100 million pounds a year on feeding addicts methadone..It is no good just waiting for the next election as they are all as corrupt as each other.If you love this country as I do then dish the dirt or the cancer will be terminal.My eyes fill with shame when I see people pilfering from supermarket skips for food and the ever increase of food shelters.Make no mistake this is a war that is doing more damage to the UK than WW11, only the enemy is within.We are now shaping the UK for our children, by exposing corruption,dishonesty immorality a leader will emerge who will love the country as I do and serve the people.The UK desperately need a roll model for morality.Every day we hear about another corrupt MP stealing public money and getting away with it so no one can trust our politicians.Our celebrities admit taking drugs and still get media attention.Our rich people boast about their tax avoidance.Our royal family have no family values and embarrass us abroad. The Police are answerable to no one, seemingly a law unto themselves.
Politicians well. They must have the ability to for tell what is going to happen tomorrow, next week, next month and next year. After that they need the ability to explain why none of it happened.
A sad n shameful truth indeed. Yet we Indians religiously line up for hours on end to vote to power that corrupt politician. As for the police and the judiciary, the lesser said the better.
History has shown none of them can be trusted.
