if you do, do yuo know how it's legal? do they pay everyone who get play time or what? are they given permission to use their music, because there are all levels of artists from undiscovered to the mega-famous?

It is legal because you are not downloading it's just radio.
Its legal because you cant download any music, you also cant just bring up a certain artist or song either. You can only create "genre" stations for an artist or song. I'm sure no artist has complained about being on there its a good spot for selling records.
plus you can only skip so many songs an hour or whatever so they almost force you to listen to songs. but I love pandora i get so many new songs from there
