Anyone can report your question as an abuse of Yahoo rules.

If you don't appeal it they get points and you get demerits.

If it is found that you did not violate the rules they get demerits and you get back the points.

Some people just report questions that they do not agree with. Many are partial rants or chatter and that is against the rules. So be careful how you phrase your questions.

Let's face it we get away with a lot stuff on this site that is NOT reported , especially insulting another YA user.

Somebody reported it as a violation. I had a question deleted once and appealed, but Yahoo didn't side with me. It was right around the time Obama got the nomination and I asked "Can you convince me to vote for Obama?" I wanted to understand what was behind the Obama craze. Yahoo said it wasn't a real question. It was a dumb decision and I actually ended up voting for Obama; so if they thought I was just fishing for negatives they were completely wrong. There are a lot of YA users who are sensitive about their politics and thus overuse the report feature. I don't think YA should allow it.

I can't give you the exact hour and minute they pulled it. But take note: When you use answers to get things off your chest and make comments as you would with a message board, rather than to seek information, your "questions" are very apt to be pulled.

In the language of answers own rules, your "question" was not a real question. This is my surmisal.

You should thank goodness everyday that Repubs do pull themselves up by their bootstraps, how else could we put you up in the projects and maintain your luxurious lifestyle.....

YA doesn't pull these questions, people who read them do. Some Republicans go around pulling anything that's critical of their party. I'd just repost it, the appeals process is a joke.

Yahoo Answers is full of crap. My question got deleted for asking why do people dislike Obama.

I had my answer removed, when asking why people tried to impeach Obama, even though he is not even in office yet. I also asked them what they thought impeachment meant, but, all in all, it got deleted.

Someone reported it for whatever personal reasons, and YA just knee jerk pulls it.

This place should have NO censorship.
