IMO, this is driven by self-imposed guilt and nothing else. One wonders why they feel personally responsible - actually the only reason that makes sense is that they, themselves, identify with "white supremacist" groups.

The same reason regressives support white supremacist groups but condemn any others, I would imagine.

I don't mind white supremacist groups any more or less than I mind black supremacist groups. I do, however, have issues with any group that idolizes Adolph Hitler or the Nazis. Nazi ideology tended to cause some problems for my nation in the past, as I recall. I am an American. and I don't like the idea of the German Eurotrash ideology that is embraced by most white supremacists tainting my country.
