Why do liberals support contraception?
Contraception is utterly immoral. The culture of sex being no big deal has led to moral deterioration across this country. It supports promiscuity, which is forbidden by God.
I don't believe in contraception being illegal, but it definitely should not be publicly funded. Liberals, why do you support PUBLIC FUNDING of such an evil thing?

Because preventing an unwanted pregnancy is far better than aborting an unplanned pregnancy.

Here's a Bible verse that you (and most of the anti-choice crowd) appear to NOT be familiar with:

First of all, I would like to start out by saying I'm a conservative. Second, I would like to point out that people like you are the ones that make us look crazy. This is America, remember? Land of the free? Home of the brave? It doesn't matter if you find it morally detestable or not, it is their right as an American to have it. I'm not saying I think it should be publically funded. I am, however, pointing out that regardless of what's morally right, people are going to have sex. Do you not think it's better for the country to prevent teen pregnancy IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE, instead of just teaching absitnence? If there is anything I can do to help lower the number of children getting on medicaid because they themselves are having children, I'm going to do it.
Ease up and think about the whole picture.
Being against contraception is almost unfathomable to me. The issue is not it being publicly funded. The issue is making it mandatory for insurance companies to cover it (which is privately funded), which I completely agree with.
Because it is good public policy for contraception to be available. Contraception is accepted medical treatment for family planning purposes. There are many reasons to want to avoid pregnancy besides promiscuity. You need to cool your dirty little mind.
At some point you'll just have to realize that morality is subjective. People are going to disagree with you.
