most of the stuff on here would be fairly good conversation, out in the real world.
Update:I don't get the ego boo, from starring questions. But from some of these answers, there seems to be some form of merit in getting your questions starred...

Cause I like it and think it's a good question or it's funny.
Because I know deep down that getting a star is probably the high point in some of these peoples' day.
I don't star questions too much. Only if they really wow me. Even if I could use them in normal conversations, if they're not profound or really appeal to me, I don't star them. If they catch my attention as something out of the ordinary, but very interesting, I star the question.
So I can see the results later on because I find it interesting
When I've never heard the question before.
Or if I think it's funny.
I'm not going to star this question if that's what you're looking for.
Because I can't give the questioner a pat on the bum. Don't worry, you don't get one.
