I recently had a problem with my windows media player 11 (when I clicked on it it said "An internal application error has occurred") So I reinstalled it and now when I try and open it nothing happens.
I've pressed CTRL+ALT+DEL to see if it was running and I don't think it was, I've also tried opening it from the start menu and the toolbar at the bottom. Nothing seems to happen :-(
Thanks to anyone that helps = ]
PS. I have restarted my computer since btw.
Update:Hi everyone- It's fixed now so no need to answer = ]. I used the CC cleaner and i went on the support website for microsoft. For anyone with a similar problem a link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925704/en-us
Thanks mr CC cleaner and Mrs microsoftsupport but I'm not sure which one worked sorry :-S But I think it was the site.

You may have to clean out the registry first, then reinstall the player.
Use CCleaner for that, get it here......................

You need to go to your add/remove programs and remove WM11 all together.. Then, reinstall WM11 onto your system..
I suggest you go to www.support/microsoft.com. You will find excellent support there. Good luck.
