A physical for both women & men is similar that, the doc listen to the heart, looks in the ears, takes Blood Pressure, weight, looks in your throat, feels for lumps in women & sometimes men's breast...checks your glands in your neck checks a woman's cervix & does a pap smear & does a rectal examintation for both. You also be required to have some blood work done & check your urine.
For a man, he will have his penis checked-out too & prostrate exam.
The doc. will also ask you a lot of questions about your health, what medication & vitamins you're taking.
If you have any questions, be sure to write them down ahead of time...sometimes we forget during our examintion.
When a women has a physical the doctor will check her breast and feel for lumps to make sure there is nothing there. The doctor will also look down below to make sure there are no marks that shouldn't be there and if the women needs it a pap smear will be done. The doctor usually when doing an exam will look at your skin to make sure there are not unusally marks, rashes etc.
As for what happens with the men exam I am not sure really 100% so I will let a man answer that one.
