I've never tried the first one, but Colossal Lash Mascara SUCKS. I just bought it and I regret it now. The brush isn't all that great and the mascara itself is nearly impossible to get off at the end of the day. I suggest you buy Avon SuperSHOCK! or Covergirl LashBlast. Those two seems to work quite well.

I would go with the XXL Curl Power. I've used the Colossal and did not like it much because it has a waxy feel and does not look very natural. Also, the Colossal comes off very easily. I would also suggest Covergirl LashBlast in blackest black- $8 at drugstores. Hope this helps! =)

i also have asian eyelashes and i dont like volumizing mascara either. colossal is a good volumizing mascara, i've never tried curlpower but I like lash stiletto for length.
