When I bought the car used with 40,000 miles on it, one thing wasn't working. The rear passenger side door wouldn't open from the inside. I looked into it, and easily fixed it with a little bit of duct tape.
Not too much later, the rear driver's side lock began to stop working. It would only lock/unlock if I hit the button many times in rapid succession. Eventually, it stopped trying and won't even make a noise when I try to lock, unlock the doors. It still works manually. Not long ago, around 75,000 miles, my front driver's side lock did the same thing. It has now gotten to the point where it won't lock/unlock unless I press/pull it with my finger or use the key in the door.
I think it is the lock actuators that went bad, and I am wondering about two things.
1. How much the parts cost, and how do I find them?
2. Is it an easy fix? Can I fix it myself? How do I go about fixing it?
Thanks for your help!

Well it is possible that the actuators are going bad. To replace them you need to remove the door panels the window regulators there is metal rods that link the door locks and handles to the door. You would need to remove them and disconnect the electrical connections then unbolt the actuator. One thing you can try is use some WD-40 open every door look where the latch is on the door jam. Spray a heavy coating of oil in the latch then open and close each door a few times it may take some time to soak this may help. The cost of the parts you can call your local parts store or just go online it varies.
