If yogurt gives you cramps, you are not lactose intolerant. The bacteria in yogurt let lactose intolerant people eat it without getting cramps. You may just hate moo goo. Or you may be in on the secret that dairy cows are actually alien creatures come here to enslave the Earth.
My 4 yr old is lactose intolerant and when she eats any milk based product she has what could be called RAW flesh on her bottom & cries in excruiating pain. She has had to be on pediasure since infancy. She loves yougurt & is fine with that & with small amounts of frozen yougurt.
She will have the same open raw flesh on her bottom if she takes anything milk based & it is so bad I have NEVER seen such a painful "rash" it isn't the average baby rash. It literally tears up her bottom & is so painful even tylenol only takes the edge off & diaper creams barely make her be able to sleep.
Needless to say we do not give her dairy products. No you do not sound lactose intolerant.
But as always, see your doctor to be sure.
ice cream is basically milk, so your can't be lactose intolerant. actually, you could be dead if you at a lot
