if your were power of attorney for someone who has now deceased. can they demand your bank statements as the deceased money was in my bank account.?
No is the answer. Even the police would need a court order for examination and even they would have to give a very, very good reason to get the order.
if your name is the only owner on the account then no you are not required to give them the statements because it is your account and you own it.
