Ok, so here's the story:

About two years ago, I met a wonderful girl named Sydney. She seemed to like me a lot and soon, we became good friends. After a couple months, we had a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. We kept this for about another year and a half, until I told her that my family is moving across the country. We were both upset, and she decided it was for the best to break up with me, because long distance relationships never work out. It's been half a year, and we have barely made any contact with each other. My dad got a good job offer back where we used to live, an now we are almost definitely going back. I really want to get back together with Sydney, because I still love her... But after no contact for half a year and her breaking up with because of the long-distance thing, I don't know what to do. Should I call her? Should I not mention that I'm moving back at all?

I'm really desperate here and serious help would be appreciated very much.
