do orgasms also start labor?
i wasn't sure. lol my husband is away and we have phone sex alot, and i use a vibrator and normally orgasm from it. recently i've been having small contractions my doctor says, and she says not to have sex. i was wondering if having an orgasm is part of the reason why or like what the reason is. like i said, my husbands away so im not having sex anyway, i was just wondering.
oh, and im now 36 weeks.
Update:well i mean like i heard you cant cause of the semen could induce it, but does an orgasm too?
and he's in the airforce. training. so whenever the baby comes, i call him and he comes. he cant come any sooner anyway.

Yes. Orgasms can assist in starting labor. So avoid them if this is doctors recommendation! Let baby stay right where he or she is until the best time for a safe delivery. I tried to help one of my labors on via castor oil - and while one had nothing to do with the other - I felt immense guilt when baby went into distress and I required an emergency C Section. (All ended up well).

I have never heard anywhere (but here) that semen have any effect on labor.

definite that's what reasons exertions it extremely is not any longer the sperm as some human beings think of. while women human beings have an orgasm the physique releases oxicitocin that's what reasons exertions. So with that suggested intercourse to bring about exertions in basic terms works if the ladies human beings orgasms. no longer that it continually works yet each and every so often it does.

So yes it might make you go into labor after all the vibrator is like your having sex perhaps wait till he comes home because if you go into labor without him there that might be kind of hard & also sad for him since he might not be able to see his first baby OR his new baby be born.
