i went out with a great guy the other night and it went great except for one thing. during the movie he reached to hold my hand but since i was so nervous, i blurted out "what are you doing?! ". he must have thought i was thinking he was going to do something disrespectful or gross, but really i knew he just wanted to hold my hand which was really sweet., so he just backed off and obviously i hurt his feelings and probably thought i was weird. after that things between us got silent and awkward. before i got out of his car i told him i really do like him and we exchanged phone numbers. well, the next day, we didn't even say hi to each other. i think he was waiting for me to say something first since i was always the first one to start a conversation. but i just didn't know what to say to him. i don't know waht to do , does he still like me i feel that he still likes me but hwy didn't he say anything? was he just shy? what is going on?

he still likes you, but when he worked up the courage to try to hold your hand you shot him down, sorta
tell him you are sorry and were nervous when it happened. and that you like him and want to see him again. things should work itself out

he probably thinks that u dont like him anymore and thus the reason that he didnt talk to you... call him up... cause u hav his number... explain that u didnt mean to hurt him and it was just cause u were nervous then try and organise another date... Good luck and God bless =)
maybe he's just unsure about how you feel about him so make his fears go to rest by being nice and friendly about it so things between you will patch up and hopefully your relationship will be okay.
next time u see him.. pull him aside and say "hey the other night when..... blah blah blah.... i was just nervous so im sorry if i hurt ur feelings"

in this age of date rape accusations, guys get really freaked when you act like they are attacking you....tell him that you didnt mean it the way it sounded
