im not computer savvy at all so please be patient with me. This problem occured between last night and this morning. I turned on the computer this morning and the windows tool bar at the bottom looks old (meaning square, grey) and if I minimize something it doesn't even show up in the tool bar but if i ctl alt delete it says program is still running.

Also when I try to access internet explorer it flashes a window and never comes up or runs. I did try to run my windows media player to see if I could get anything going however it says that there isn't enough memory. We powered down computer last night and it was doing fine before this, this happened upon power up this morning. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what happened or how I can fix this. It keeps telling me that restore won't protect my computer and to restart and it keeps saying that after I do restart.
