I want to change the temperature at which the laptop turns off itself since it's pretty low(About an hour playing Assassin's Creed Brotherhood will get this guy hot)It didn't have a password since i had to go to the BIOS to change the main boot device to CD so i can install Windows 7(it didn't come preloaded)And after installing the fingerprint device driver(i believe it asked me to make a BIOS password that i later forgot...)It's a brand new model.I don't believe there would be a master password since by default BIOS was unlocked.

Thats using the old noggin! Buy a laptop that can't handle games and then jack the temp protection up so you smoke to processor. Reset the bios. Let us know when it fries. I'm always up for a good laugh at the ignorance of others.
Basically u can't reset BIOS password for laptop since it doesn't have a cmos jumper like those in a desktop. U could try removing the battery for at least 24 hours and see if the password will go away or u could use a software called CMOSPWD 5.0 to force reset the password. But it doesn't work with every model of laptop in the market and there's a risk of losing ur BIOS if u didn't do it correctly. But i've use it myself and it works for me everytime without crashing. Just to let u know, i myself work as a Computer Tech Personal, so if u need the software and wanna give it a try and can't find it, just leave me ur email here and i'll send it to u... Cheers..
Bios passwords can't be unlocked!
