I've heard a lot about Velasquez paintings , he is from spain, from Sevilla and there is a famous painting of him: Las Meninas ..the curious thing is that I've never ask for his name , I'm sure about the last name , but I'm not sure if he is Antonio, though ( I don't think this is helpful, but.. :)

Jose Antonio Velasquez was an artist... but there may be a matador by the same name as well.

I think he is from spain.
