That's not bad for the Lakers but you are forgetting and maybe even not understanding that Luke Walton is the single most UNTRADABLE Human Being in the NBA.
He has FIVE YEARS on his contract left and he is GARBAGE. Last seaosn he proved that he is not an NBA player.
and we don't need a backup, we'll resign Mbenga soon. Plus Mihm IS a backup Center that you put in that trade, even though he's going to get injured every 4 days.
If I was a Laker fan, I would like this trade. Which is a very reasonable trade, and would help them in the playoffs.

You get a Perimeter defender, who could share minutes with Odom. Hughes has a hefty contract, but is only for 2 more years. Unlike Waltons contract that has 5 more years left (and for the most part, not to many Laker fans seem to appreciate his game).
Ben Wallace is not that great anymore. If Dwight Howard is rated 10 and Shaq is rated 6, Big Ben will be rated 4. Radmanovic is already good with the Lakers, so why should they trade him?
The only way that this trade would become a reality would be if the Wallace's contract would be in his final year.
So, with the Wallace and Odom contacts gone, the Lakers would have more than 28 million available to sign ...
someone like LeBron James perhaps.???

How are you gonna give up the only two shooters at the sf position. Ariza can lock someone down but he can't shoot. And the lakers have Odom, an improving Turiaf, Gasol, and Bynum; they don't need Ben Wallace. That's a bad trade.

If this trade worked i think it would help the lakers a lot becasue their are getting tim thomas who has a all around shot and getting rid of lamar odom. I think tim could do better with kobe than Odom did.

Ben Wallace sucks, he is the worse scorer in the Nba. I would rather have Kwame, who i hated. Ben is no threat
i dont like this trade one bit. radmanovic is money when he's on and luke walton has one of the smartest basketball IQ's in the league. all youre getting out of wallace is rebounds and blocks.
