Whenever I try to use a composite cable on my PSP to connect it to a TV, I only get sound. The most that happens with the video is, the screen stays black but looks like it's trying to pick up the visual by flickering. Any ideas?. some TVs just aren't compatible with the PSP. My 27" TV does exactly what yours does, but my HDTV handles it just fine. It could also be the wya you're switching over. instead of jsut holding downt he screen button to switch to the TV, go into the ystem options and do it there, that's how I have to do it.
