I just started P90 on Wednesday, and found that I could not keep up with the all of the push ups that they do! I got about 8 real push ups done and then had to switch to my knees. Will it get easier? i want to make sure I am not slacking so that I get as much out of this program as I can!
Did you use the pull up bar or the bands? I found I had to change a few of the exercises as I do not have anything to attach the bands too, so I secured them under my feet. Is that okay?
Also I couldn't do a few of the Plyo exercises yesterday due to a bummed ankle from Snowboarding. Do you think the Lean Program is better suited for myself since I can't do all of the Plyo? I heard its more cardio then Plyo, and the Plyo is high impact on my ankle. Let me know what you guys think!
I am doing Arms today, tho my whole body is still pretty sore from the last two days. Will it get better! lol i'm in pain!! Please help!!!

Hi Jenny.
Not too many people can keep up with ALL of the pushups that they do. All you have to remember is to do the best that you can.
In short, no, the program does not get easier. It really focuses on maximizing results in the three months it promises. With consistency, you are guaranteed those results.
I purchased a pullup bar. You may find it's easier to attach the resistance bands to a door and then pull on them. This will act as your pullup. If you purchased a third party band, not from the Beachbody website, the company may offer a door attachment, which is perfect for this exercise.
What you can do now is substitute Cardio X for Plyometrics while keeping with the Classic program until your ankle heals. Once it's 100%, start doing Plyometrics again. That is the pure beauty of the program. It tailors to people of all skill and fitness levels.
Trust me, the program is HARD, but it gets better, more fun, and you get a great body to go along with it.
Let me know if you have any questions about the program.
LOL, of course you're not goign to be able to keep up in the first few days. the people in the video have been doing the same workout for forever & a day before they make the dvd to sell. and then there's video editing to make it look like none of them are ever giving out or getting off beat from everyone else. but don't feel bad, 8 real push ups is GREAT!
i am doing jillian michaels 30 day shred, and i cant do real pushups at ALL. i have to do girly ones & even then, i pretty much fail. but i was able to do a couple today where as a few days ago i couldn't do any. if you're hurting, the P90X is really freaking hard, so give yourself a day to recover & then get back at it. All GOOD workout DVDs are hard to begin with & you have to work up to be able to do it all.
GOOD LUCK!
