You can take it with no problems. The morning after pill has estrogen and progesterone in it which are natural hormones in your body. There won't be any problem just because you have type 1 diabetes because you already have these hormones. They are natural but just a higher dose in the morning after pill. It might cause some stomach cramping or it might make you feel like you want to throw up, but those are normal side effects. Good luck!
wrong to the person who said it has no effect. someone needs to go back to pharmacy school. Those hormones effect your blood sugars. Type 1 diabetes can only take low hormone or no hormone birth control. You have to be very careful with monitoring your blood sugars if you take it. it has warnings all over the pill things that if you have diabetes that you need to talk to your doctor. be careful too with getting pregnant, there are many insulins that aren't approved for pregnancy and being pregnant and a diabetic can be dangerous if not getting treatment.
You will be fine. You need to take the morning after pill ASAP for it to work.
