Costco has the most generous return policy of any vendor I know of, so your chances of getting a refund are pretty good. Just ensure that the disks were truly faulty when you opened the packages, not due to anything you did, intentionally or not.

Repackage the set in the original packing and take it to the customer service desk with your purchase receipt.

Has anyone ever successfully returned an open dvd to costco? I purchased a dvd tv show that contains 6 cds and some of them hae scratches on it and 2 of the cd's freeze during play. Would costco accept my return?
