Rockstar games Disc Read Error...?
The rockstar games i have are gta 4 and Mcla and when i play em both they both get disc read errors... then when im playing fable 2 nothing happens... i dont think its over heat -_- like some one suggested becuase i turn my fan on to blow on the 360 when i play =P!!! is it my xbox or the cd's

Good question! Could be both the discs and your console. If you have been doing a marathon session of gaming, maybe turn it off for an hour to let it cool down a bit.
I had a problem similar to this with Crackdown. I thought it was the disc but other games seemed to work fine. Finally found out it was my 360. Something about the actual device that reads the discs failed completely. It wasn't RROD but I had to send it in to get fixed anyway. They only charged me for shipping I think.

Y'know, it might not hurt to just call up 8004MYXBOX and tell them the problems you're having, and see if others have been having the same problem and what the solution is, if any.
