I got my second ear lobe piercings done and I kept them in for 7-8 weeks. I got an infection during the time but it healed. I got another infection after 8 weeks and my right ear lobe was HUGE. My mom forced me to take them out so I did and all the pus came out. However, I haven't put in my earrings for over a month and I think they are just about closed up. I have a very thin bump behind both of the piercings. I am planning on repiercing them just a little higher than they were before next month.

Two questions:

1.) Will the ear piercing marks be noticeable from up close? If they will, then how long will they be there since I haven't put my earrings in that much.

2.) When I get my second lobe piercings again a little higher, will that affect the super thin bump behind both of my ears?
