Hi i am doing an intervention with a women who has profound mental and intellectual disabilities and am looking for theories to relate to my practice. I am working to build up her comunication through visual aids, descriptive praise etc. I have completed these interventions but for my portfolio for college i need to apply theories to relate to this practice eg- i have already spoken about Howard Gardners multiple intelligence theory. Sorry if this sounds confusing but any suggestions would be great please. Thanks
