trade gates (for cassel)?
i have pettigrew,
cam has a week 9 bye. cassel plays miami week 9.
the only problem is i wouldnt have anyone to replace pettigrew on his bye (week 9)
if i hang on to gates to fill in for pettigrew week 9 i wont have cassel to fill in for cam. and cassel has the more favorable matchup (gates plays GB).
thoughts?

You can't pick up Palmer or some other QB from FA that will fill in just fine. I wouldn't trade Gates at all. I would suggest pick up a QB, most likely Christian Ponder, Tavaris Jackson or Charlie Whitehurst depending if Jackson plays (they face CLE), John Beck for WSH is taking on CAR. I believe you can find a free agent QB to fill in this week.
