It seems as if there will be a lot less 300 game winners in the future. I think it's pretty obvious that Tom Glavine will get in and Randy Johnson is he overcomes his injuries. Pedro Martinez is a longshot because of all the injuries, but he definetely would've made it without them.
For the future, I would say maybe Johan Santana, although he got a late start. Sabathia has a goot shot too. He's got almost 100 wins and he's only 26. I'm also liking Roy Oswalt. He's got two 20-win seasons and a 19 win one and averages like 17 wins a year and currently has 106 wins in 7 seasons. All of this depends on injuries a lot though.
Glavine will get there, and if Randy Johnson can get his back troubles solved for a decent amount of time, he'll get there. I don't think anybody else is going to reach the 300 mark after those 2. Smoltz only has 202 wins and is in 19th or 20th season. No chance for him to get there - he doesn't have 5 20 win seasons left in his arm. Mussina has 243 wins and is in his 17th season. He's only averaged 15 wins over the last 5 years, so he'd need 4 more seasons of that to get there. He won't shorten it with a 20 win season - he's never done that before so there's no reason to think he'd be able to do it now. He's a long shot and I just don't think he'll get there. Anybody else is going to have a really hard time with the 5 man rotation and the way the bullpens are used these days.
A player who currently has less than 100 W's, but I feel has a great chance to win 300 is C.C. Sabathia. Take a look at his current #'s along with his age and I think you'll agree. This of course like any other record in baseball counts on good health and from a pitchers perspective, playing on traditionally good teams.
Glavine will get there Johnson might and after that there really is no one. Mussina is way back there so he probably won't get it and I think the next one is Moyer who is 43. CC Sabathia and John Santana might have a shot down the road.

Tom Glavine only needs 2 more, he's a shoo-in.
Randy Johnson is close to 290, he will make it.
Mike Mussina has a shot, but it will be tough.
Schilling has a decent chance at 300 too.
Pedro Martinez might not because of all the injuries.
Smoltz has 202, so he will need some good season.
