If your computer has become extremely slow. There are 6 things you should do:
1) Make sure your hard drive is not full . To check for space availability on your hard drive, click on Start, right click on My Computer, right click on Local Disk (C:) , choose Properties. (you need at least 200 MB for Microsoft Windows XP)
2) Run anti virus program to check for viruses (for example AVG free).
3) Run anti spy ware programs to check for SPY WARE (for example Spyware Scan on the Yahoo Tool Bar).
4) Add memory if not more than 256 Meg.
5) Run Disk Defragmenter once a week by choosing Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Defragmenter .
6) Remove cookies and temporary Internet files by clicking Tools, Internet Options and then remove cookies and temporary Internet files.♥
