Windows computer error?
I tried to open a picture i took with camera with windows picture and fax viewer. but an error came up saying windows cannont open this file.windows needs to know what created it . and it gives me two options to use the web to find the program select form a list. I don't know what to do please help.
Update:when i try to click windows picture and fax viewer it said no preview available.

if it really is a picture (it could be a video that you accidentally took) select "select a program from a list" and click next
find MS picutre and fax viewer highlight it and click ok
if it's a video , you need different program to open it with
Move the picture from your camera to the hard drive. Install Irfranview. It allows viewing of most picture types. There are also some plug-ins that can be added. It is free. A good photo editing program is Gimp. Also, free.
