A boat question/can't identify make/model...?
Hello everyone!
I have a 1986 open-bow jet boat that I use for the lower Colorado river (very shallow waters).
I cannot find out, nor can the Waters Bureau of CA, nor the CA DMV, what kind of boat it is...
The HIN is: CFF200020286 - if anyone anywhere can help me out - I would be grateful!
I've been told it's a Caribbean, I've been told its a Commander... no one knows.
Thanks for your input - it's driving me crazy!

CFF is the MIC (manufacturers ID code) for a company called Newport Laminates, Santa Ana, CA. They seem to be in fiberglass molding business, and make a brief mention of building boats in the 60s. They may have also operated under the name California Fiberglass Company. Try contacting them for further info.
