Hi I just had my Dell Inspiron laptop fixed and after it was fixed, the screen looks wider. It's like it's being stretched even the web pages are all stretched out. It's Windows 7 and the resolution it's currently on is 1024 x 768. Please help thanks.
Update:Dear Noah:
I tried doing that but it seems it is fixed. I can only change from 1024 x 764 to 800 x 600 which looks way bigger and stretched out.

Change your screen resolution to a lower setting.
Probably it's set at the "optimal" setting meaning that it's making everything as small as it can to fit onto your screen.

Then you should try doing a driver update either from Dell or Microsoft. I'd have to know the Dell model number and if Windows 7 is 32 or 64 bit to give you a link.
play around with the resolutions:
1. Right click desktop
2. Screen Resolution
3. Set it to recommended
4. if that does not look right, just test out all the resolutions
