I just started to take birth control pills. The first month, I got my period. But this month I have taken 3 inactive pills and I haven't gotten my period. I am worried. And I have not had any sex this month. Also, this month I was taking my pill a few hours late than i was last month. Could that make my period come late?

Being on BC is going to make your cycle irregular. It's nerve wrecking and annoying, but since you haven't had sex this month then you shouldn't have to worry about being pregnant. Taking them semi-late could be jeopardizing the pill's effectiveness, so you should try not to take your pill past two hours after your scheduled time, otherwise do as instructed and double up the next day or throw out your pack and start over. Once you get back on track, your cycle will regulate. It takes a while for your body to adjust to the hormone levels when on BC. If you keep forgetting, you should try something like the patch or NuvaRing so that you won't have to take it daily. I kept forgetting my pills and switched.
Your hormones can have converted and your start manipulate might not have a well outcome in your moods and durations. I realize I had that challenge as soon as. I was once on one start manipulate for three years and the whole thing was once exceptional...then instantly, i became the most important B*tch and obtained three week durations and just one week off in among them. Go in your health practitioner and talk about switching start controls. you can also desire to recall a form that you do not must don't forget every day, such because the nuvaring or patch or shot. Not taking your capsules across the equal time daily too can outcome the best way they outcome you. Good good fortune!
