I'm writing a book about a girl dying form a diesease (probably leukemia) and she decides to do a bunch of stuff she wants to do before she dies. I want some other things to happen in the book apart from falling in love, but I can't think of anything that will make the book different to other novels/movies that are similar. I want it to be something really awesome, like an accomplishment, because the character with leukemia dies at the end. Any ideas? Only nice answers please (:
Update:Thanks, that's a really good, original idea! Thank you so much (:

Hi,
Sudoku wanted to make a thousand paper cranes, and the girl in Now is Good had a list of illegal things she wanted to do before she passed, but maybe your character really wants to sing with her favorite music artist, but he/she can't make it to her for some reason or other so it's up to her and her family to follow the singer so that she can have her moment in the spotlight before it's time to go. Maybe they have all sorts of misadventures, but the live concert where the main girl finally catches them is shown all over the world with her on stage singing right beside them on stage.
That's all I can think of. I hope this helps :)
This is a bit cliche, but how about something like painting... you can be like, since she is aware that she has few days to live, she starts noticing the good in this world and makes few paintings which becomes famous after she dies or you can do the same thing but with poetry. I suggest to go with painting, you can describe them in simple words if you like... if you say poem than your readers will expect a poem in the book.
Sorry if this was of no help... I tried my best.
