Camera/computer problems.. HELP PLEASE!?!?
Ok I have a Kodak Easyshare Z760 and it is completely dead. I usually use a USB to plug it into my computer to charge. Did it about a month ago no problem. I plugged in it for hours today and its still dead! I checked the connections and they are fine. I know the USB port works because I just printed something a few hours ago.
I've tried everything...Any ideas on how to fix this???

If your re-chargeable battery isn't taking a charge, look for a reset button. Check for corroded contacts. Look for deformities in the battery casing. Try another battery.
If none of that applies, and you are running Windows XP, read on...
Open your Control Panel, double-click on System, click the Hardware tab, then Device Manager. Look to see if there's a red x in your imaging devices, cameras/scanners. If there is, and it is your camera, something has disabled it. Chances are that an Anti-Virus or Registry Cleaning program caused a conflict with your camera software and knocked it offline. Right-click and try to enable it.
If your camera doesn't appear in the list but Intel PC Camera Pro does, un-install it. Unplug your camera, so the "found new hardware" wizard doesn't start. (if it does, close it) Just to be on the safe side, to replace any corrupted files or registry settings, continue on to the next step.
Close the Device Manager and open the Add or Remove Program dialog window. Un-install your camera software.
Reboot your computer. Plug in your camera and wait for the "found new hardware" wizard to open. When it does, insert your Camera's software CD and run the install.
