Hello Guys,
My Specs are
i7 2600 3.40Ghz x8
8 GB Ram
500 GB HDD.
Cooler Master GX550W PSU
Will my PowerSupply be able to run GTX580?
If so, Then thank you! ANSWER FAST!
The total power draw for your system is 523 w. I would not try it. You should be at least 100 w above the max draw just to be safe.
a 700 w PSU should do it.
Also, I would get a GTX 680. Apparently, they are supposed to use less energy than 580s, and are more powerful.
I would not try it. The minimum requirements for that card is a 600 watts with 42 amps minimum on the +12 volt rail.
It aint gonna blow up or fry itself in 5 mins it's a quality psu and should work ok, but like the rest i would advise a new one soon as you can
