Hello, I'm not geek of any kind and I'd like to update my comp but thinking If I'll be able to do so with my current box. I have ASUS Intel dual core 2.60 with 6 Ram and I'd like to go with these:
e AMD Phenom II X6 1035T 2.6GHz 6-Core Socket AM3 Processor (pictured), model no. HDT35TWFGRBOX, together with an ECS A880LM-M1 AMD 760G Socket AM3 Motherboard ,
The CPU includes a fan and features 3MB L2 cache and 6MB L3 cache, so I don't know what to do with current fan?
Any help will be GREAT help as you see, lol

That is a big negative. You cannot update an Intel motherboard with an AMD CPU. It's like trying to put a Ford Mustang's engine into a Chevy Camaro.
Not gonna work.
Nothing to do. You only can get yourself a universal cooler holder for every socket. Try searching. Smth like CoolerMaster Hyper Z600r
Amd and Intel CPUs are not interchangeable
To it's a different socket, it won't fit.
