I just found out my dog has fleas and there are fleas in the carpeting and the whole house.

I have a blue and gold macaw and 2 budgies. None of them touch the dog or anything but they do live in the same house so I was wondering if they could catch fleas?

Im taking the dog to the vet tomorrow for flea medication, should I bring the birds too?

Also when I have the house flea- bombed, im removing the birds from the house, but should I leave their cages inside so if there are any fleas in the cages they can be killed? or should I take the cages outside?
