You might have spyware, which a single virus scan might not catch.
You should probably try to download and install a free spyware cleaner like SpyBot, Malwarebytes or SuperAntiSpyware and run a full scan with one or more of those tools (it doesn't hurt to run multiple scans with different tools; spyware missed by one can be caught and removed by another).
What operating system are you using? If it's Windows XP, you should reboot after you install one of the spyware scanners, then just before the animated Windows XP logo appears, you should hit the F8 key, then choose "Safe Mode with Networking", and then once you get to your Desktop, run the scans from there.
Safe Mode prevents most stuff (including many forms of spyware) from initializing; if you see those errors appear even when just trying to download or install one of the spyware cleaners, you can likely get around this by trying the same steps in Safe Mode.
Most computer errors are born in a part of your system which hardly anyone knows or understands - the registry. This is the central database of Windows, which actually stores some of your computer's most important files and settings. Everything from your latest emails to your desktop wallpaper are kept in this database, making it one of the most used parts of the Windows system.Because it's used so much, the registry database is actually prone to becoming corrupt and damaged, which makes Windows struggle to read the files inside it. Unfortunately, 100's of registry files are corrupted every week and Windows has no way to protect against it - it's this problem which causes most of your computer's errors. The problem is that when these files are corrupted, your PC actually takes longer to read them and often can't read them at all. This causes errors on your PC which seem to appear randomly. You can use a Registry cleaner. http://make-computer-run-smoothly.com/ Registry cleaners are tools which have been created to scan through the registry. They work by scanning each file and then checking to see if it's corrupt or causing problems. If they find that it is broken, the registry cleaner will replace or fix the file for you to make your computer speed up and become free of errors. You should have a try! Good Luck!
You may want to run a couple more virus scans or run malwarebytes. Just because you ran one virus scan(?), doesn't mean that particular software was able to find a virus. That's why there's more than one on the market. Just don't run more than one anti-virus software at the same time.
