everytime i turn on my pc ,the monitor goes to standby, then i press reset and it freezes on the first screen, reset again,freezes on the windows 7 start up screen, reset again and it works fine, this happens the same way everytime.. using windows 7 now, but it did the same when i had xp on this pc, and sometimes i have to reset more times.. but generally its 3-4 times. I have a new graphics card (evga gtx 460) but it did the same thing with my old card (nvidia gt7300), so doubt its the g-card.have an amd quad core processor and 4gb ram..a very strange issue that i really need to sort out.

Its really annoying!!
